I used to listen to this on my tape and rewind and play over and over again. I read Amy Poehlers Yes, Please today and was reminded of it (READ IT, she rox). I remember singing it in a park, in the dark with my friend Jenny who recently passed. We laid on the hood of the car with it blasting. It was in my head and I taught her the words. Shes left this world, but I find it comforting that this song brings her back. Its funny how I have no memory, for just about anything. Its a mixture of my MS and getting old and I suppose just surviving and the medication and LIVING. But play a simple song and it all comes flooding back. It comes in waves and scenes, little pieces, but they are detailed (like I was smoking Camels and wearing beige corduroys) until it goes black. Music and memories are like cousins. You grow up together and remember these little inbetween scenes that once seemed so unimportant and there are secrets only the two of you shared and now, are all that you have...and then it goes black. Sometimes I wish I remembered more, but then I think this is enough. Never want ore than enough. youtu.be/2ezgAQ4oToY
