I used to receive inboxes from all sorts of nubile looking pretty - TopicsExpress

I used to receive inboxes from all sorts of nubile looking pretty young things promising all sorts of sinful delights and millions ostensibly left by their dead kin in west Africa! All they needed was for me to contact them on their hot mail account and share my bank account with them so it could be credited with 10 million dollars! I knew what to do with those. i just deleted them and reporting them as spam became a reflex! I knew that there was probably a hairy, smelly Nigerian goon with missing dentition behind a keyboard in some downtown Lagos internet cafe! Then they became even less creative. Instead of typing out a creative message with an intriguing tale of being the long lost daughter of sani abacha or some other such deceased despot, they just sent an image of their email with some pick up line about fancying me or something close or just simply inviting me to chat with them on ... you guessed right, hotmail! i passed. Now I am getting all of these beguiling Asian girls/women just wanting to be friends on facebook. some just open a chat window and attempt to start up a conversation! As I often do, i check their profile out first and if I cannot find any reason they would wish to chat with me or be my friend, ie one of the reasons i mention below, I delete! Most accounts are relatively recent. Some look genuine and even have some messages on their timeline. Many share a few friends on facebook! But I cannot for the life of me find any particular reason why they would be interested in being my friend on facebook! Most of my facebook friends are either into Ugandan politics, activism, are amateur writers or avid readers, are lawyers (never figured that out), are old friends from school or uni etc. Most if not all have got some interest or personal connection to Uganda! This new Asian group offer me nothing ... not their nubile bodies, not millions of dollars, not some business opportunity, not an interest in Uganda, nor a shared Ugandan origin, not a professional interest, are not writers .... and all in all share little in common with me! Most do not read the same stuff I do and do not appear to have any particular interest in Uganda or africa ... i just cannot Needless to say, i cannot find any reason to accept their friendship request! Anyone who can shed a light on these new friends?
