I used to think every single event in the bible happened before every other thing in the world. That the Bible was the history of all histories. Until I found out that before Jesus, there was Socrates. I used to think nailing someone to the cross was a very special and the worst kind of penalty and only Jesus with two thieves were ever crucified, until i came across Spartacus and the entire roman history. I used to think that when I die, Ill be going to either heaven or hell. But lately, I realized there was no evidence for the existence of either place and that when I die, Ill be dead and gone. I read about them in books and saw them in movies and the pictures grew stronger and more frightening, but recently I have come to see that fictions are what they are irrespective of the forms they take. What did you used to think?
