I used to wake up to a newport hock a loogie while Im coughing now I wake up and pour myself a cup of coffee used to roll me up an L get my fix and hit the strip now I strap on my boots, uniform, work hat and hit the bricks it used to never cross my mind like damn, one day I could die now every time I leave my home I kiss my family good bye I used to fill them baggies up plastic packaging now I roll burritos paper bag and foils what I pack em in I used to carry straps back then only for the haggling now Im reminiscing with my friends thats left like damn, that really happen, man? deep down I knew the real now its you bet ya, sho you right who thought the daytime manager was ever a kid whod grow to love the night but I still wake up first and there still aint no fear in me only thing thats changed is words inside the vocab that you hear from me maybe idiot savant articulate what I percieve maybe Im on a higher plane and the chemtrail is all you see but I was born to lead at least thats what youve said so I practice alchemy and take your soul turn gold from lead D.I.G. the wizard
