I used to work with Inuit from northern Quebec. Country food was a large part of their diet (foraged plants and berries, fish and game). My Inuit co-workers here in Montreal were always excited to get food shipments from back home. (Oh the irony!) So my question is, are there foods that are more in-line with traditional diets that we can be sending north? (I realize that this will vary by community and geographic region). Are traditional European foods really the best options?
