I usually am not attracted to quotes, statements and proverbs - TopicsExpress

I usually am not attracted to quotes, statements and proverbs because they sound virtuous or look good stuck on my refrigerator. I instead look to find a connection to them that leads to non-duality which in Tommys Webster means nothing more then the absence of the thought of I am which allows one to be. Which is tangent to any religion or application of science. I do my best to not look at life as ego based. Which would separate myself from life by thinking I am more then other aspects of life. So in referencing something I am attracted to I find a sutra of sorts in it that has a common denominator in it that connects to everyone or the one in all of us. I see all of creation as a artist. We that think get to admire the intrinsic quality of nature that doesnt think and just is what it is. So by thinking we have the ability to create the art of our life to our choosing if we consciously look to ourselves as a expression of life and not think what life is to serve us. Which is the I that thinks it is. Then looking at life with not a purpose to achieve but instead be the passion we feel is what allows us to find the one in each of us and not the search for a thought of happiness outside us. The happiness we think is always attached to the thought of covering the bad as they are each one side of the same coin. To have acceptance of one with awareness of the other is what allows us to be okay with either and not steer life by a thought of having one and pushing away the other. Instead we use both the good and the bad as paint for the canvas we create the masterpiece we call our life.
