I usually do not like to put controversial statuses, but Im on fire today! Ive come across 3 posts against police officers just today. My daddy, brother, papaw, several cousins, and close friends were/are police officers. I was raised better than to constantly bash somebody who serves and protects and puts their LIFE on the line EVERYDAY to provide for their families. Many have a problem with the everyday duties of an officer, but they want them to respond immediately when something happens to them. I know what its like to worry everyday about something happening to my daddy or my brother, every time that uniform was/is put on! I take complete offense to such remarks, and Ive been on BOTH sides of the law. The next time you give a heads up to your buddies about a cop hiding out, think about what kind of investigation you may be hindering. Or the next time you try to make your child scared of police officers, think about what youre doing! What if your child gets in a situation and needs help and is scared to approach an officer? Its a lot more than just warning folks about a speeding ticket!! Unless you live it, you do not understand the level of stress they deal with everyday. Learn some respect!!
