I usually dont make posts like this, but I need to speak my mind about the multilingual Controversial Coke commercial. It really sickens me how much of a backlash Coke got for making this commercial. I think what the most hilarious part about this whole ordeal is the people that are saying Youre in America, speak English or get out cant even use the proper your as well as many other instances of the most basic, 1st grade grammar rules. Beyond that, all the racism and traditional, judgmental views need to be obliterated. It is absolutely ridiculous that these comments our coming from our generation. Look at it this way, if we were to get in contact with an advanced alien race and they asked for a 1 minute video from each part of the world that sums up who we are, I would be absolutely proud to send that 60 seconds of video footage to represent us. Then immediately after it was sent, I would be absolutely ashamed to say Im sorry, that is not us, here is what MY FELLOW CITIZENS are actually saying in response to that video. I would be disgraced. I am disgraced. We cant continue onward to a better world with mindsets like the ones portrayed in response to this video.
