I usually dont take part in the Rest In Peace status that everyone seems so fond of when someones passing. But this one is actually pretty important to me. Today marks 4 years since I lost a teacher, a mentor, and a good friend of mine lost a father. Mr. Bunn and I spent a lot of time together between 6th and 8th grade. Between him being a confidant to me, as I wasnt the most emotionally secure of young teenagers. Him tutoring me during his personal time, and having a vested interest in my grades and well being. Him helping me make extra credit in classes that I was struggling in. All to lead to him encouraging me, and helping me make the transition from school to a therapeutic wilderness camp where I found myself and changed my life for the better. Mr. Bunn wasnt just a teacher to me, but someone to look up to, and he is greatly, greatly missed.
