I usually dont vent on here but Im troubled and cant sleep. Why is it that people are so humble & appreciative when they ask to borrow something from you or need you to extend them a kindness but get super indignant & inaccessible when its time to give it back? I dont know why I cant sleep thinking about the countless number of people who Ive helped out of compassion for their wellbeing, their children, their freedom & some their life...only to be burned in the end and have to take significant losses. Im talking thousands of dollars, property and unrecovered damage to personal property only for them to skip off in the wind not taking a 2nd look back at the havoc Ive been left with. Coming up with some weak excuse or anything as justification of why its OK for them not to pay me back. Just smiling & going on like nothing ever happened. Im really trying hard not to be bitter and have resisted the urge to seek revenge when the opportunities have presented themselves. I know thats why Ive been blessed the way I have against all odds. The thoughts still cross my mind...BUT GOD is a God of just recompense.. Vengeance is mine said the Lord. I shall repay. Once I call this to remembrance I can get back to the business of letting it go and Get back to praising Him for my anticipated divine restoration. :) Remember folks Character Counts. Im now going to remind you like my sister @ShaunSuperSwaggMillhouse said Be willing to accept NO just as happily as you would accept yes. I will be exercising the art of NO from now on.
