I usually dont visit my own facebook page. However, I did this time and I see a question about where I lived and what highschool did I attend. I actually lived all around the new Orleans area and attended 3 different highschools. I graduated from Cor Jesu on May 14, 1968. I started highschool at Rummel, for a year, transferred to Shaw for 2 years and then Cor Jesu for 2 years. As for where I lived. Well, I first lived on Tchoupitoulas Street, then somewhere near Gentilly on St. Ferdinand St. Next was the Magnolia projects for a little time, and then Madonna Manor for about 5 years. I actually had two different foster familites, and lived therefore on Gayoso St near Esplanade Ave., Division St in Metairie for about a year, Hope Haven for about 2 months, Hero Drive in Gretna for about 2 years, a Cuban group home on Ursuline Ave, and then several other places when I went on my own. (My wife used to get annoyed whenever I would say this is my old neighborhood.) When I went to college, I had the opportunity to live uptown on Calhoun St. My most recent residence has been for almost 35 years in Harvey. I WOULD NEVER HAVE DREAMED THAT I COULD LIVE IN ONE PLACE THAT LONG. Hope this helps for whoever asked the questions. If I wasnt so boring, I would write a book. lol
