I,ve just been to the OAP,s home in Perama, i spoke to the lady in charge and asked for anything they need..........here goes.......night gowns (i,ve just given them 4) night dresses (given 1), t-shirts, sheets, pillow cases, tracksuits (i think bottoms mainly) knives, forks, spoons (seems they get taken :/) and glasses. Asked some questions about Emelia.....Hospital gave NO records to the OAP home about medication but today a lady from the mayors office was there and said she does sometimes need tranquilisers to quieten her down but no record of any other medication.......she DOES come from Kastellani Messi and also told the lady she never married. Emelia used to collect a pension (OGA which if i,m right is the farmers insurance?) but with there being no-one to help her with papers etc the pension stopped........there is now a lawyer sorting that out so she can get her pension again. She does have a house in the village and did,nt want to leave it but i was told the house was filthy. The home was told that Emilia was found in a very deep dirty ditch which she had fallen into and it took the fire brigade to get her out of. If anyone visits Emilia please take note of the old gentleman sitting in a chair just inside, he just loves to say hello and hold your hand every time you pass :D. I gave Emelia her quilt, jumper and dressing gown but did,nt need to feed her as a lady was there feeding her crisps and juice, then the nurse came to give her a wash and to take her downstairs in a wheel chair for dinner.
