I`ve just finished to read sura 2 with all tafsirs and explanations. I am a lawyer and i usually make a huge analisys of every thing what i read or hear. I got an idea that the basis of Islam is not laid down on personal experience of communion with God, but on the observance of external law - Sharia, which carefully regulates the life of a Muslim, defining for him five times prayer in ARABIC (up to the words, the allowed time, clothing, posture), fasting, pilgrimage and ritual, etc. At the same time, by controlling the external human behavior, Islam does not give people the main thing that is able to give a true religion - the experience of personal communion with God, and the most important thing - the KNOWLEGE of God. Islam doesn`t have as a target - the transformation of the human soul.
