I visited a spot today that many baby boomers will never forget: - TopicsExpress

I visited a spot today that many baby boomers will never forget: Dealy Plaza, in Dallas, TX. I looked at the very spot Oswald fired from, and saw the spot on the road where the fatal shot struck home (x mark painted on the street). Next to the Grassy Knoll were a couple of conspiracy theorists spewing their speal. I ignored them. That being said, some of the prickly bits about JFKs election and Oswald were not mentioned or were glossed over. For example, they said Oswald lived in Russia, when he, in fact, defected, with all that implies. They did not go into how much a communist he was, either. The museum also did not go into the massive voter fraud in the 1960 election that Nixon declined to investigate. The museum on the 6th floor did not allow photos, so I took a photo from the 7th floor, above the spot where Oswald fired from (that is the open window in the picture). The concrete plinth is where the Zapruder film was shot, he was standing on it. You can see the painted X in the street in the background.
