I visited my oncologist this morning, but we talked more about my recent issues than we did cancer. I got lots of lab work done to check my inflammatory markers and liver and kidney function, all routine for me, with all the medicine I take. I have also added another dose of gabapentin to my day, which will require at least one pot of coffee to counteract the drowsiness it causes. Another dose may be added in the coming weeks, if I dont get adequate pain relief. I am also going to see Dr. Dispo for some nerve conduction tests for carpal tunnel syndrome. Hopefully someone can figure out the best option for treating it....3+ months of numbness, tingling, and disrupted sleep is enough!
