I voted people for the reason of what I personally saw them doing, helping us on the south shore and who has done as much as possible for my town. From Village to TOH to County. They were there trying to get things done for the hardest hit people, the south shore. Remember where you turned to for the little information available. Remember who was there before the storm offering assistance to the Village with battening down the hatches. Remember after the storm what was offered to help us. realize that the people in charge all had training and instructions on how to handle things. All the classroom training in the world couldnt prepare anyone for what we saw but they did the best with they had and were there for us. We survived and things are slowly getting better. I wont mention any names but there are people asking for your vote that I never saw around here after the storm. I may be wrong but I dont recall even seeing any pictures of them helping here on the south shore. Remember how everyone was saying that we were the forgotten ones? Remember this when you vote. Remember who was there for us in our darkest hour and who was nowhere to be seen when you cast that vote. JMOT.....
