I voted yes, it is a no vote, of course Im disappointed, but I was quite sure it was gonna actually be a no vote anyways (I know that sounds pessimistic, but its based off polls and how the physchology of an independence referendum works, look at the Quebec referendum if you want to understand this physchology). I really believed in the yes movement but however I believe in democracy too and because this is what the Scottish populace has chosen I will accept it. I wont let this disappointment affect my views of people, as democracy is democracy, its your civil right and you expressed it, I completely respect you for that. I just hope moving towards the future that Westminster doesnt ignore the 1.6 million Scots who did vote yes and actually does give Scotland more powers etc. Possibly one day the Scottish people will choose to reclaim the complete control of the country, it just wont be today. - Laurencé Dobbie.
