I voted yes on H Res 266, the rule defining the process for considering H R 1947, Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management (FARRM) Act of 2013, and H R 1797, Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. For H R 1947, the rule provides for one hour of debate equally divided between the Chairman and the Ranking Member of the Committee on Agriculture. It does not provide for amendment debate on H R 1947; amendment debate will be covered under a subsequent rule. For H R 1797, the rule is closed (no amendments may be offered). It provides for one hour of debate equally divided between the Chairman and the Ranking Member of the Committee on the Judiciary. All points of order against consideration of the bill are waived, and one motion to recommit (return the bill to committee) with or without instructions may be offered. It passed 232-193.
