I voted yes on the motion to suspend the rules and pass #HRes488, which expresses the support of the House for the democratic aspirations of the people of Venezuela and urges involved parties to seek a peaceful resolution to the crisis there. The United States should not insert itself into the conflict in Venezuela, but Im comfortable with this nonbinding resolution expressing disapproval of the use of violence and intimidation.
