I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy loving-kindness and thy truth from the great congregation. Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy loving-kindness and thy truth continually preserve me Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
