I walked outside today and my 8 year old neighbor was sitting on the porch listening to music on his phone...I yell over to him Jon Jon, what you ever there listening to?? Some Migos?? Some Chief Keef?? He unplugs his ear buds so that the music will play aloud...It was Phil Collins timeless hit In The Air Tonight I said What you know about that song? He says I love Phil Collins I had to immediately apologize for stereotyping my young brother. I always thought hes far beyond his years anyway. Were all guilty of judging the youth without listening to them..They are our future, so we must find out what theyre interests are now and tap into them so that they will expand..As a child, no one ever told me I could be a Civil Engineer, or an Astronaut, or chemist, or physicist .. I was presented with Fireman, Policeman, or Athlete.
