I wanna give a shout out to all the fathers and stepfathers, whom are supporting their children and stepchildren, weather it be financially or emotionally, weather its dropping them to the bus stop 5:40 in the mornings or picking them up after cheerleader practice, weather its dropping the check off for ballet classes, its ok if you have to check all the windows and doors at night and gather all the dishes from around the house, dont get stressed if they remind you repeatedly about everything thats important to them or that they are poor even though they only wear Jordans and that their iPhone is the old version, smile when they say , theres nothing in this house to eat , Im tired of yalls cooking. Dont flip out if you can hear the tv on in your stepdaughters room but cant see any light coming from under the door because theres a towel stuffed blocking it and you investigate from the window to see an extra pair of feet hanging off the end of the bed, dont feel deprived because of what you sacrifice for them and deny yourself , keep cool if you felt you had just got rid of some bills and one of the dummies decided not to chew their breakfast, went to school and felt like they were choking and had to the ER and a $3000 bill came , from them giving her a cup of water, dont lose it if you had was counting down to Friday after work to just relax and they come at you to take them to the party 30 miles away, dont trip out, keep calm just smile , keep encouraging them and wait a while !
