I wanna talk about how AWESOME Winnipeggers are. In December, a donation to Habitat For Humanity Winnipeg - Women Build was lost in a snow storm. Despite searching the street, it was deemed to be long gone. Fast forward to May, when the snow starts to melt. A man on that street was cleaning garbage from his yard that had been pushed up when plows etc came by over the months, and he finds an envelope filled with $20 bills...the donation! However, it wasnt EXACTLY clear where the money was actually supposed to go...but after much facebook and phone call sleuthing, it finally made it to its proper place. That man could have easily kept the hundreds of dollars in that envelope, but he spent a lot of time making sure it got back to where it belongs, and thats awesome. Thank you, kind sir!
