I want everybody to know Im definitely not giving up music, and Im - TopicsExpress

I want everybody to know Im definitely not giving up music, and Im not quitting or anything. Personally, I dont need advice on how to make my music or release it. To clarify, I make music as a HOBBY, nothing more than that, it has always been a hobby and a passion of mine. I listen to my unreleased stuff all the time and enjoy it. While it may seem like Im cynical at times, I apologize for that. This is a BRUTAL industry and I know that first hand (having been scammed out of thousands now that were owed to me by all kinds of entities for remixes, management, etc.) I have personal things going on, financial things, legal things, and family stuff, all happening at once. So it kind of HAS TO take my focus away from all of this music. Thats what my negative post was all about. Its depressing to me that I cant translate my inspiration into music right now because Im so busy. I hear new songs coming out that I like (and Im not talking about Beatoffport top 100, I promise) and Im super inspired by them. I want to sit down and write some new tunes, make some new synth sounds, and try out new styles, but I just cant find the time. THAT to me is what my post was about, its discouraging because I used to find so much solace in writing music and now that I cant find time to do it - its difficult to stomach and accept. I only hope that things work out for me in a positive sense and I can once again resume producing music just about 7 days of the week like I once did before. I NEVER meant it as Im quitting or giving up and please dont think that. Please dont think Im intentionally being negative or Im butt hurt because of this or that - its certainly NOT any of that. I could care less if 10,000 people support me or 10 people support me, if 500 people buy my music, or 5,000 people download my songs. Whats important to me is that I support myself and believe in myself. But I am certainly grateful for every little bit of support that comes my way, no matter what But in order for me to create music, I have to have a clear mind and I need to be able to focus on the music and not all of the issues around me. Trust me, Ive tried, but its hard to dive into your DAW when you are dealing with a lot of stuff in your life.
