I want folks to know that I have been in the hospital in acute care since last Thursday Aug 7th. Im still here and not yet sure when they will let me go home. Im not in any hurry to be honest - I want to let the medical team figure this all out once and for all so Im not a repeat visitor on this. What they have finally determined is have sepsis (infection in my blood stream) which is quite serious. The bummer is this has slowed things down with rescue considerably though thankfully there have been a couple of people step forward to help to keep some things going. The good news is I have a really good medical team here who are working to make sure they address everything so I can be on the road to recovery and regaining my strength. The picnic at Doran Beach is still on for Saturday. It is a pot luck. More on that in awhile. If there is anyone who would like to help make sure things are covered out there Id sure appreciate it. Also out server has been down over the weekend and Im working on finding out when that will be back up - so if you have emailed the [email protected] address after Saturday we have not had emails since.
