I want to apologize for the late decision on closing today. the start of school and then canceling school. The safety of our children and staff members is always our first priority, and I acknowledge that we could have made better decisions this morning but It is important to let you know that the information available at that time indicated roads would be clear and safe for travel. This led to my decision to continue with regular schedule. I also was checking Round rock isd web site since 5am and they were supposed to open at the regular schedule, around 7:30 they decided to delay ckasses and then around 1 hour later they decided to close.. As childcare, depending of our district , we have to follow our isd in case of emergencies and closure. Were very sorry for any trouble, inconvenience or problems that our children, parents and employees faced related to our decisions.
