I want to ask all of you to keep Kentucky Official Doug Allen in your thoughts and prayers. Doug returned home from the World Junior Meet in Eugene OR on Monday. Later that night Doug was having trouble breathing and his wife called 911 and they took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed as having a heart attack. Thank God it didnt happen while he was on the airplane. On Tuesday they performed a heart cath and discovered 4 of his main arteries were at least 80% blocked. On Thursday Doug had a quadruple bypass. I saw him today and he looked good and sounded good though he was still hurting quite a lot. He is in Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington KY but I do not know which room as he was changing rooms today. His wife has control of his flip phone so calling might not be a good option. If you would like to send a get well card please message me and I will send you his home address.
