Tim Reynoldsposted toLindale Ga The NEW STAR, Lindale Community Block Party ( To let you in on the Lighting Ceremony Plans for the Star ) The Star Between the Stacks Lighting Ceremony, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7th. The Lighting Service will begin at 4pm, and the star will be lit at 6pm. Time is Subject to change!! Heres what we know so far: 1. South 1st Street (between the mill and the Gilbreath Park) will be closed from 2:30-6:30 pm. 2. The ceremony will take place on South 1st St. and a stage will be set up at the fence directly in front of the smokestacks, where the Pepperell School groups can perform. 3. Groups performing are, Pepperell Primary, Pepperell Elementary, and Pepperell Middle School choruses. Also a group from the Pepperell High Band will perform. 4. Several local Lindale Business, will be there set up on South 1st St. to promote their business, where the Kangaroo Store will have hotdog plates with all the fixing, and coffee etc. The Lindale United Methodist Church and the Silver Creek Presbyterian Church will have a booth of some types of food as well, plus a clothes closet giveaway. 5. Fast Cash from Rome, will have a area set up for children: Where inflatables etc. for the kids to enjoy will be here as well. 6. There will be several food trucks here as well like, The new Gradys BBQ traveling truck, also were waiting to hear about the Crawdad guy. 7. IF you are a local Lindale Business, and a Church we would love for you to participate in this huge event for Lindale. This is a GREAT way to advertise your business, and to support and take back the Lindale Community. HOPE to SEE EVERYONE of YOU at the Lighting of the NEW STAR!!
