I want to buy everybody a copy of Andy Crouchs PLAYING GOD: REDEEMING THE GIFT OF POWER. If every pastor took this book to heart, incredible things could happen in the church around the world. If every CEO took this book to heart, what a wonderful world it would be. Andy presented the books central ideas today in a fantastic lecture at Seattle Pacific University. I attended that, a luncheon where the faculty asked Andy questions, and an afternoon session where students asked him questions. Then I interviewed him for Response magazine, and enjoyed a meal with him, several faculty members, SPU chaplain Bo Lim, filmmaker Steven Keller, and SPU Provost Jeff Van Duzer in the Presidents Dining Room. My head is full of challenging ideas and my heart is full of inspiration. Thanks, Andy!
