I want to congratulate everyone who rode in LRC for 2014. I want to take a moment and brag on a little black mare I own.. Diva was a 2 year old coming 3 year old with less then 30 days of riding and never been hauled anywhere when a friend of mine said there was a local show in Kentwood that I should go to. We loaded up the next weekend and went to our first LRC show and we where hooked. We made 5 out of the 6 shows (missing one due to going to California ) and ended up placing 2nd in performance and 5th all around horse and rider out of 25 horse and riders. That is pretty darn good for a baby with limited training and a rider that never done a speed event in her life.. We are coming home with a buckle a big bag of goodies and a 3 tier saddle rack. We cant wait till 2015.
