I want to describe our recent experiences with homedepot. As I have mentioned, we ordered a full kitchen suite, paid with our credit card and it was to be delivered on Thursday. When it did not show we went into the store. The store said (follow me here) the delivery company said, Umarha from homedepot,com said that we said, cancel it. That was a lie. We dont know Umarha and neither does anyone at HD! And the charge remains on our credit card so it was not cancelled but still not delivered and they cannot find it and they cannot get new ones and get this because this is my favorite part......... We cant place a new order until this mistake is cleared on the credit card in about 7-10. Then, 7 days after that the appliances we ordered, paid for and arranged to have delivered MAY arrive. But most likely not before the holiday .....Im hosting. Its not about the appliances, we can always BBQ. But seriously I feel this is so,wrong, my money is being held hostage and the service and items I bought are too. Obviously we want to go somewhere else, order and get them next week. But we cant until the credit card mistake is cleared by HD. And,they told us today they dont know what happened so we just have to wait. Seems really unfair, is super bad business.
