I want to encourage somebody this morning who may be struggling and battling with a loss of Spiritual desire. Many will not confess this but there is s difference in doing out of obligation and doing something because you delight in it. Spiritual desire is evidenced by a heart on fire for God. One who is passionate for God finds pleasure in the things of God. Loss of spiritual desire happens slowly and the change is subtle. Lifes issues arise and interfere with our time in the Word, with busy schedules, temporal commitments and vain stuff. Before long there is a disconnect in our prayer life, laziness in church attendance, as worldly pursuits begin to take place of our godly pursuits. It is not wrong to have outside hobbies, skills, activities and so forth. But we must not let them make us lukewarm. But seek ye first the Kingdom if God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Lord help me to keep my priorities straight. Amen!!!!
