I want to explain the pumpkin party because I have friends whos feelings got hurt because they didnt get invited. BUT here is the deal. I have the most amazing OBGYN office ever. Last year, while I was prego with Grey, I got super close to the ladies in that office. (I was already super close to one of them but grew really close to the others too.) I saw them weekly for most of my pregnancy because I had gestational diabetes. We planned one last year and when Grey was a week old, we had our first ever pumpkin painting party. I loved it and they did too. So, we decided that it would be an annual event. Thus, last night was about them and not about my amazing football family or even my other friends. To be honest, if I invited all of the people that are in my life that I love, I would have had to have had it somewhere other than my house because there would not have been room for everyone. So, I am sorry to anyone who felt excluded but this wasnt just a friend party. This was for those ladies at that office who are most definitely my friends as two of them were given special permission to be in the delivery room with me as Grey was born. I have a bond with those ladies that I will never have with anyone else and unless you have witnessed the birth of someone elses child, I cant explain that to you. I am so blessed that I have so many people in my life that love and care about me! Again, I am sorry to anyone who felt excluded. It was not my intention.
