I want to first thank all of you who responded to my post last night-I knew it was crucial for me to reach out so that I could feel the support. And I want to tell you that I was able to gear up enough energy today to head over to Luke AFB and their Family Advocacy center to inquire about counseling possibilities. I met for over an hour with a perfect match for me-she gave me her time and space to emotionally vomit, didnt tell me I was depressed, understood, on the contrary, that given the relationship Handsome Husband and I shared, that Im still operating in shock and that, given some of the circumstances of his hospice time and death, there is unresolved trauma and anger. All of which, we all know, is normal. So, I have an appointment set up again and as I told her, some of the steam was let off the top of the pot and she was given to me as a life preserver. Which she acknowledged because she and I didnt connect from pure chance. We spoke not only of my grief, but of Buddhism, Eastern philosophy, near-death experiences, Kubler-Ross-yes, she and I are a very good match. The Love will, by god and however desperately, shine more brightly than the grief~
