I want to give a big shout out to Kimberly Council for running an amazing campaign for NY Assembly in District 54. Rev.Council ran an amazing race despite the fact that she was severely under resourced and was fighting a machine with regards to her opponent the dreaded Dilans. Despite these hurdles Rev.Council made an amazing try at the seat, resulting in an impressive showing at the polls ! The Dilan campaign is a prime example of nepotism, cronyism and big corporate interest investing to much into Public Servants to align with their own agendas! There has to be a halt to outrageous war chest these politicians accumulate and use to sway public opinion with no substance to back their platforms. Races should be fueled by the passions of both parties, their agendas and their collective intelligence put on display for the public to choose in an informed manner. Not waiting to election day to splurge on all types of marketing tactics and hiring goons to intimidate the opposition and deceptively influence low income voters, who work hard and might now have the time to keep up with candidates but are wooed only on campaign day! Shame on you Dilans !
