I want to go on record that I support our Sikeston school bored. I am against common core in our schools. These are two different issues. Our government is controlling our school system. They are pushing common core. When you take money from the government they get to dictate how things are ran. If you are against common core you need to reach out to your state representatives and governor. Our school boards hands are tied when it comes to this. We have a good group of Christian board members. Each of you do your research its up to us to find the truth. Dont rely on everything you see and read in the newspapers or social media. Common core is not good and if you truly are against it start directing your concerns higher up! Pray If God can move a mountain then I believe he can bring this community together to fight for what I think most of us believe in.
