I want to invite my friends to join me and my dinner date Dr. Ruth Westheimer as my guest this Wednesday, May 28th at the gala dinner for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street, 55 Wall Street at 6:30 pm. CBTF (cbtf.org) is the leading national organization that provides both services to newly-diagnosed children and their families (as well as to children who survive initial treatment and have a host of other medical issues that they encounter) as well as designs and manages important research to help improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Also, for anyone who also wants to join me for a weekend in Hardwick, New Jersey on June 20-22, we will be taking 25-30 kids (and their siblings) who are currently being treated for brain cancer or who are just past this important milestone for the weekend to a camp in Hardwick, NJ (about 90 minutes from Manhattan). These kids are amazing, have the most positive outlooks on life and will change the way you think about your own lives.
