I want to know if anyone else in town has been frustrated by attempts to get DSL internet service from Century Link. Numerous times over the past six years I have signed up for the service. Three or four days later I call to check and am told the service order was cancelled because I am too far from the central station or there are no more ports available (always a different story) although each of my immediate neighbors has the service. Each time, Century Link tells me they wont be able to provide the service until enough potential new customers sign up for it. I am tired of paying $80 a month for only 10GB through my Verizon phone! Is there anything that can be done?
