I want to personally thank EVERYONE for the page postings, inbox messages, text messages and phone calls for my birthday! Its encouraging to know that God has used me to touch the lives of so many in ways I never knew. Every Sunday at Bethel, we quoted what we called The Disciples Declaration. As I turn another year older, this declaration is no longer just a confession, its become my passion, my pursuit, and my purpose! I am a part of the fellowship of the unashamed, I have Holy Ghost power, the die has been cast; I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I wont look back, let up, slow down, back up or be still. My past is redeemed, my presence makes since, my future is secure; I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, worldly prosperity, position or popularity. I do not have to be right, first, top, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on the Lord, run with patience, lift by prayer, and labor by Holy Ghost power. My face is set, my goal is heaven, my guide is reliable, and my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity nor will I meander in the maze of mediocrity. I wont give up, shut up, let up, until I have prayed up, paid up, and worked up for the cause of Christ. I am a principle-centered person, empowerd by purpose; I must go to Jesus come, give til I drop, teach to all I know, and work til He stops me. And when Jesus comes, Hell have no problem recognizing me because Hell remember I was the one He gave POWER!!!!! May we all live life with passion, pursuit, and purpose!
