I want to publicly thank all the friends who have privately kept me (and Victoria) afloat and alive this month. While im truly humbled and honored when people i havent seen in 20+ years send us food money, Victoria is astounded to see that so many people care. Shes only known me as the loner/introvert ive become over the years, and is genuinely surprised to see just how many friends i actually have. Unfortunately, the 1st of the month is still two days away... so im back to panhandling our meals for tonight and tomorrow. Its risky, as by far the best place ive found to panhandle is in front of In-N-Out Burger... where im also trying to get a job. I just hope the hiring manager doesnt recognize me sitting out there... If you want to help, but are leery of sending money, a few crafty friends have utilized Facebook Gifts to send us gift certificates for local restaurants.
