I want to say a special Thank You to the awesome team and great students at Charlies Combat Club for joining efforts with my church, Gold Creek Community Church, to raise money for the Oso relief effort! 100% of every dollar donated is going directly to a chosen family who lost everything and whose life has been turned upside down by this horrible tragedy. For those of you who don’t know about Charlie’s Combat Club it is a local martial arts gym that I have been blessed to be a part of for 15 years. They have always been a top notch gym not only caring about the physical aspect of their students but make a positive impact in their lives as well. So many people have been blessed in so many ways by the amazing coaches who really take the time to train them not only to be in the best shape of their life but to really help those who need some redirection and mentorship. They build self confidence and real friendships, they are a family. Since I became involved in programs such as feeding the homeless in downtown Everett, kicking off a free dental van clinic, food drives, more programs than I can think of, they have always been there to lend a hand and help. They have been there to support me and the community programs I have been involved in from day one. It is an honor to be part of such an amazing gym, who continues to support me and the community outreach programs at Gold Creek. So THANK YOU to the coaches and students at C3. You guys rock and truly are THE BEST. Thank you !!
