I want to say something here that may hit some nerves the wrong way.....I have been part of this room since before it even was a room....Jenna and I chatted about this room before it was even birthed....I have been in this hobby although it is not a hobby for me it is my life since women wore flip flops under polyester ball gowns and men wore filling station uniforms for Confederate uniforms.....the first event I was at 1963 some men had original uniforms on.....TThis is my point way back before the internet we had to dig in musty old museums, beg curators for a peek at original gowns and dresses,plunder old falling down farmsteads for abandoned trunks.! Now all we have to do is enter the internet or come to the closet and there are hundreds of years of experience here for the asking....but yet we grumble and hiss back at each other like a bunch of spoiled school children. We are putting a curse on a wonderful asset that we can all enjoy. We are not all at the same level of living history and reenacting, but I do believe we are all here because of the goodness that is in our hearts to share this wonderful history of one of the most pivotal eras of American history......I dont often post on here and there are times I find that very sad with over 50 years in hobby, but there is seldom a day that goes by with out me watching this room.....so lets make this a happy place again what do you say? A place where every one is welcome as long as the good spirit is in their hearts......Blessings to all
