I want to say that this post is not a judgement of anyones belief system and is not created to offend anyone, however it is in responce to being judged for my own. I watched a program called secrets of the bible last night. Over 50,000 people are killed in the bible in the name of God but only 3 are killed by Satan. More people have been killed in the name of Jesus than in all wars since recorded history. Hard to believe? Reseach it for yourself. I just did. Fact: no one has ever been murdered in the name of positive living. I ask honest questions but only get generalized answers about Christianity. Statements like It is a fact that the there is only one God. He is the God of Christ. All other Gods are acting in Satans name. I just wish one of you would show me any evidence while proclaiming facts. If I ask deep questions I get answers like Believe and you will see. or What the heck are you smoking? the best answer came from pasture Danny at Calvery Chaple who said It is simply wrong for me to question God. but never any sensible answers. Im told God speaks to some of you. I lived and breathed Christ for the first 3 decades of my life. God has never spoken to me not once. Are you more holy than I? I know the bible better than most preachers do. But yet God speaks to them and not me? He must them to tell the congregation they must donate more because not a surman ever goes by without the mention of gold, the root of all evil. Jesus preached from a rock to the poor.I study the teachings of Jesus. They seem to go directly against what is happening today. The judgement of those who call God by another name. The declaration, follow my God or burn in Hell? If anyone has anything that is fact rather than conjecture please, Im asking honestly, enlighten me. I dont want to hear your opinion, or your preachers opinion, I want to hear some facts. I dont want to hear an answer from the Bible, because for every answer in the Bible theres at least one Scripture that will contradict it. I love the whole God hand picks who lives and dies. Really, so he saves the rich and wicked while letting children die? Then Im told he works in mysterious ways? I believe in a holy spirit. It says in tge bible it lives within all living creatures. I can buy into that. I can feel a collective energy among us but if the God of Christ who by the way is the God of Judaism is as hateful as the bible portrays him then those who proclaim all other Gods as acting in the name of Satan confuse me. Can you not read that your God is a vengeful God? As a person who tries to maintain a good heart I seem to witness a lot of hatred coming form the modern day Christian Church. I believe Jesus Christ would be appalled at what he would see today in most churches. Its the simple. If you believe it helps you, fine but quit knocking on my door and trying to convince me that Im going to hell if I dont accept your version of what Jesus believed, because from what I know of Jesus, he would think youre nuts.
