I want to share a little tip I picked up and will be shamelessly stealing from my friend Melissa. When traveling with tiny toppers, fasciators, or other similarly small, crushable accessories and accouterments, an empty plastic Folgers coffee can is a brilliant thing. I can stack two little tophats in one of the taller containers. Realizing this is more of a tea-and-fancy-coffee crowd, maybe everyone doesnt have them hanging around their airship, but perhaps their offices, churches, VFW halls or other large coffee-brewing organizations might. They are lightweight, fairly sturdy containers with sealing lids that are free to repurpose from a lot of places. Probably also would be a handy, dust-free way to store them. If you wanted to get crazy and decorate the outside with something more attractive, hey, go nuts. (wash thoroughly to remove residual coffee grounds/smell)
