I want to share a story with all my animal lover friends here: Today when I sent my cats to the MAS Animal Cargo place, I started chatting with the Custom clearance boys. I had to go into their office to sign paperwork so left the 2 cats in the car. One guy asked Is your engine running? Is the air con on? Please dont let them die! I said Of course I wont leave them in the car, on à hot afternoon. Why would I want to let my precious cats die? I AM spending thousands to bring them to London with me! Then a sad story unfolded. Yesterday at their entrance, a man goy out of his taxi to start his own paperwork for exporting his cat overseas. When the custom officer asked him where the cat was, he went to the boot of the car. They found the cat covered in sweat, tongue lolling out and it had sadly died of heat exposure being left in the boot of the taxi from Kuala Lumpur to this side of KLIA. He broke down and cried uncontrollably. I started crying too when I heard the story. How my heart bled for that poor cat. None of the officer understood why the cat was out in the boot instead of being placed in the taxi with him.
