I want to share a thought that came to me that I believe was the Lord speaking to my heart a week or so ago. It really impacted me at the time, and even more as I go day to day. Sometimes, we have a blind spot....and per its name, a blind spot is in an area that we cannot see. :) I had been reflecting on the almost 40 years of marriage that Bill and I have shared, thru good times and hard times.... this is the thought from the Lord that came to me: We each gain in strength as we each invest our strength/ our best in each other. If in the course of events, we choose rather to challenge/ compete, instead of investing in each other, then competition is the robber and we in essence devour our relationships/ ourselves.
