I want to share something with the public, my son who is Hispanic is a good writer and his vocabulary advanced compared to myself. I am deaf, but here it goes. The logical dilemma regarding whether or not quality or quantity outweighs the other may seen questionable, but the solution is obvious. Neither. Inequality within Fairness. Like apples and oranges, they were not meant to be compared, but equal nonetheless. If it were so easy, why is there such a debate, or rather lack-thereof, on the ethical principle that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few? This predicament is not just a question of quantity, nor only quality, but both and a bit more. The world is not black or white, life is not so simple, and, at least with ethics, there are exceptions and a rather larger gray area. It must come to be understood that, at least sometimes, the needs of many do not outweigh the needs of a few because needs are subjective-no two can be compared, contrasted, or measured to outweigh another. Different cultures have different needs at different times for different reasons. Boy do I wish I had his talent when it comes to writing. I am a very proud mama of this child. He needs though courage to speak up more about what happened and what some people did to him. Johnny HIbler at least wanted my children out of this thing that his sisters and mother did to human beings. At least he cared a little compare to the other side that found illegal entry of the mind (brain) and other things.
