I want to share this song, Take Me To The King, and also share some very personal words for someone who may need them right now. This has been my theme song for months. I feel like I wrote every lyric. Im private with my personal battles but Ill share a tiny bit for the purpose of this post. EVERYONE faces struggles and dark places in life. Im finally coming out of a very dark place. Probably my lowest valley ever. He is giving me strength and Im getting stronger everyday. At times Ive felt like I was only hanging on to life by a thread. But I still hung on. I know God has held tightly to me even when I didnt feel him. A line in the song is especially personal to me Im all churched out (too weak to even cry). Those are some scary and low times when you are so weak you dont even have strength to cry. I know how it feels to be so numb that you cant feel anything. My heart was numb (Psalm 38:8) I KNOW someone was praying for me - Taking me to the KING - I was just laying at the throne in pieces. The good news - hes putting me back together. Isaiah 30:18 The Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up and show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice.
