I want to share this story for all the men, and men who think they are men. Just think about this with regard to restraint and choice when someone makes you mad, and in assessing what you see from others. When I was a teenager, I used to get into arguments with and yell at my mom. My father, in talking to me about it, asked me Why are you screaming at your mother? I said she makes me so mad. He stood up, took a step toward me and said Do I make you mad? Would you like to yell and scream at me? Of course, because I was not completely stupid, I said Ummm...no. He said, So do you see that this is not about your anger but about your choice? Dont make your choices based on what you can get away with. Make them about what is right and wrong. And it was wrong that you were disrespecting your mother. That is what a real man, a great man sounds like. He wanted me to understand physical power before I had it. He wanted me to understand that the most important thing about me was not my prowess, but my restraint.
