I want to take a moment to make a formal announcement. As of July 13, 2014 I have handed in my letter of resignation as a Footlight Player, my last day will be August 10, 2014. I want to be very clear as to somewhat do my part to control any and all rumors...I have not been fired, this decision has come with much consideration and deliberation. I am focusing on my future with my Art and Interior Design work. I will still be entertaining, but plan to travel and experience the world on a more broad spectrum. I have enjoyed my time working at The Parliament House over the past 8 1/2 years, and will treasure each and every moment that I have experienced there. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented colleges and coworkers in the business. My life has been enriched, enlightened, inspired and encouraged by these people...they have become my friends and more importantly, my family. Though its sad to close a chapter of my life, Im excited for the future ahead of me. I look forward to returning as a special guest as needed, and getting to see those I love. I want to thank each and everyone who has supported me through this amazing journey...its been such a life changing experience for me, and a dream come true. Special thanks to Don and Susan for giving me the chance and opportunity to work for you. I wouldnt be the person I am today without you both. Also, thanks to Darcel Stevens for being a mentor, mother and a friend to me. Youve walked me through some dark and difficult times over the years. Your presence and constant reassurance has been a source of comfort and peace through it all...Im eternally grateful to you! I can go on and on listing the countless people who have been an inspiration to me, but instead Ill just say this...I love you all and am deeply thankful for your presence in my life...
